Project Go is offered through the Office of International Programs and the Department of Modern languages and Cultures at the Virginia Military Institute. It is funded by the Defense Language and National Security Education Office and administered by the Institute of International Education.
For the 2 spring semester Project Go scholarship opportunities awarded, VMI will partner with the third-party provider
Amideast to offer a semester abroad in Amman, Jordan.
- The Project Go scholarship covers tuition,/fees, airfare, room and board, books and more.
- ROTC students nationwide may apply.
- Your major does not matter
- No previous language skills required
- Earn college credits
- Potentially qualify for proficiency bonus pay once commissioned
- Open pathways to Foreign/Regional Area Officer careers
