Experience the beauty of Australia through its diverse landscape and laid back culture. Adopt the “no worries” way of the Aussies as you explore the bluest beaches, green walking & cycling trails, and sprawling vineyards during your summer in Adelaide -- Australia’s fifth most populated city.  

Get excited about:
  • Festival Hub - A hip and multicultural city, Adelaide is home to eclectic cuisine, idyllic beaches, Shiraz wineries and Australian wildlife.  Sample farm-fresh fruit and veggies at Central Market, join in the fun at one of the 500 cultural festivals held year-round, or take a 10-minute walk outside the city center to the Adelaide Zoo to visit 1,800 different kinds of animals, including kangaroos and koalas! 
  • Engaging Coursework - The University of Adelaide offers students the opportunity to study an intensive 6 credit academic program with local and international students in an outdoors-oriented environment.  Study at the third-oldest institution in Australia and take part in the Small-Group Discovery Experience, which actively encourages you to engage with your coursework and peers in order to grow as a student.
  • La Vida Local - Experience the beauty of Adelaide’s colonial architecture, mixed with the green parklands, all while learning what “no worries” means from a laidback Aussie city.  Adelaide is Australia’s festival city for a reason:  dress up for the International Rugby Sevens at the Oval, catch an outdoor film during the Fringe Festival, or listen to live music during the global celebration of WOMADelaide!
 
Academics:
For the Summer in Adelaide program with CISabroad, there is one 6-week session offered. Take courses in Australian & Indigenous Studies, International Studies, Media, Arts, Entrepreneurship, Business, Economics, Public Health and more!

While at The University of Adelaide, students will have the opportunity to study an intensive 6 credit academic program with local and international students in an outdoors-oriented environment. Study at the third-oldest institution in Australia and take part in the Small-Group Discovery Experience, which actively encourages you to engage with your coursework and peers in order to grow as a student.
