Program Description:
Summer in New Zealand
Study at the University of Otago with CISabroad during the summer and take advantage of amazing excursions to nearby museums and coastal towns where you’ll be sure to fall in love with your surroundings.

As a student at University of Otago’s International School, you’ll be paired up with local Kiwi students who will help you adjust to and explore your new summer home. Each day you will experience and have access to the following:

 
  • Live in the heart of Lord of the Rings country 
  • Easy access to beautiful sand beaches, mountains, and coastline
  • New Zealand’s oldest university and AACSB accredited Business School
  • Excurstions to Mt. Cook, Queensland, local museums, or nearby coastal environments

  • Take advantage of hiking, skiing, water sports, and adventure tourism
  • First hand look at Maori culture

Location based – New Zealand is known for its outdoor lifestyle. As a student in Dunedin, you’ll enjoy a wide range of sports, adventure tourism, and high-energy cultural events.

Academic Based – The University of Otago is a top notch academic that is highly regarded for the quality of research produced by its students and boasts an AACSB accredited Business School. Specially designed for students in the Northern Hemisphere, the “International School” has a range of courses, from entrepreneurship to marine science. Each course includes amazing field trips that take advantage of Otago’s perfect location.

La Vida Local – You’ll gain a first-hand look at Maori culture, while visiting historic temples and museums and attending traditional social events. Courses are designed with a hands-on cultural component that allows you to experience traditional New Zealand.
