Program Information:
Spend an entire semester with Paris as your classroom. With CISAbroad, you will be a student at the Institut d’Etudes Supérieures des Arts, where you can practice your French and take classes with fellow international students. Surround yourself with amazing art and architecture in this city known for its beauty. Enjoy these unique aspects of the progam:
  • Immerse yourself in the French culture - Grab lunch by Notre Dame, admire the Eiffel Tower at night, and wander the streets with a baquette in hand and macaroons for dessert.
  • Courses taught in French and English -  All courses will be taught in English and have an excursion or two built into the course. This program focuses on learning inside and outside of the classroom.
  • Live with fellow international students - Live in furnished, modern housing with other CISabroad students from all over the United States. They will serve as perfect travel buddies and you'll form life-long friendships!
Academics:
Take courses that apply to your major or if you're feeling adventurous, sign up for one of the elective classes offered at the Institut d’Etudes Supérieures des Arts. Take courses in both French and English -- we offer something for beginning French speakers as well as advanced speakers. Take an art course or a course on the culture of France. Either way, you are sure to learn a lot both in and out of the classroom with the semester in Paris!

Student Life:
Receive excellent support from our on-site staff as a student at the Institut d’Etudes Supérieures des Arts. Immediately upon arrival, a member of CISabroad will pick you up from the airport and take you to your housing facilities. In the next few days, you will receive an orientation to help you familiarize yourself with the bustling city of Paris.

There is also a four week intensive french language course that is catered to your current understanding of the language. Coupled with your cultural class, you'll be an expert on France before you know it! Enjoy several excursions as well to truly experience the culture of Paris and the country of France.
