Semester in Business and Economics, Prague is a perfect blend of academics, social activities, and rich cultural opportunities. Spend your semester studying Central and East European economies, societies, and culture while living in one of Europe’s most beautiful, historic cities. Here are just a few of the key highlights that make this program unique:

Academics:
Semester in Business and Economics, Prague takes place at the University of Economics. The University has developed a unique program specifically for international visitors. It lets you experience the dynamic conditions in Central Europe through the professional insights and instruction of native Czech professors and business professionals. Courses are available in the Czech language, management, law, history, culture, politics, trade practices, and the economies of the vanguard countries, mainly the Czech Republic, Poland, and Hungary.

Semester in Business and Economics, Prague focuses on Central and East European economies, societies, and cultures. Courses are taught completely in English. You’ll review the past and explore the present and future of the developing economies, societies, politics, and languages of Central and East European countries. You will also have the opportunity to take some Czech language courses in order to help you immerse into the wonderful culture of Prague!

Student Life:
During the semester, you’ll have extensive opportunities to participate in activities with Czech and international students. You’ll have access to the campus gym and get 1 free pass to the Aqua Palace, the largest water park in Western Europe. The Buddy System plans lots of trips within the Czech Republic, plus international trips, language-exchange activities, parties, and sports activities. Also, Prague is a very vibrant city, with many places to grab a coffee and a delicious pastry (famous in Prague) with your new friends.
