Program Information:
On Intern in Costa Rica, you will study Spanish at a local university in bustling San José, the capital of Costa Rica, and work at a custom internship or volunteer placement. You can gain practical skills in your major and really boost your resume with international work experience. In your free time, explore nearby volcanoes, go zip-lining in the rain forest, and get to know Costa Rican culture while sipping some of the best coffee in the world with classmates at a local café!

Here are some things to expect while on this unique program:

  • Custom internship in Costa Rica – Gain practical experience in an internship selected for you from among fields as diverse as business, education, design, art, journalism, tourism, and engineering. Get a leg up in the job market!
     
  • Idyllic setting – You’ll be just minutes from the heart of the capital of Costa Rica, and you will get to explore both the city and the beautiful national parks, picturesque mountain villages, and relaxed beach towns found nearby.
  • Fun outside the classroom and your internship – Universidad Veritas has weekly dance classes, intramural sports, martial arts classes, Costa Rican cooking classes, religious organizations, volunteer opportunities, and more.
