Program Information:
Split your time this summer between London and Barcelona.  Start your journey in London at the University of Roehampton and get to know the city and surrounding areas of this lush green campus. Then, hop on a plane and fly south to the coastal city of Barcelona for 4 weeks.  Improve your Spanish and embrace the warm, Mediterranean culture and climate. Two cities, one great adventure.

Here are some things to expect while on this unique program:
  • Incredible beaches – Barcelona in the summer is a melting pot of Catalan culture and international visitors checking out the world-renowned beaches, museums, concerts, and restaurants. It’s pure excitement!
     
  • A perfect location in London - Our campus is conveniently located only 6 miles from central London and gives you the best of both worlds. Although you have easy access to the city center, you still have the benefit of a beautiful and historic campus away from the hustle and bustle. You’ll get to really experience this diverse city with your professor and classmates!
     
  • Focus on Spanish language or take courses in English while in Barcelona – Spanish language courses are offered at all levels, and you will be surprised how your language skills can improve in just a month. Or take one class in Spanish and one or two in English. There are tons of options in either language.
     
Location:
City Expeditions: London and Barcelona is a true study-travel program! You will spend the first 4 weeks studying at the University of Roehampton, on the southern edge of London. Frequent excursions around England's capital city enhance classroom work and provide you with a truly British experience. Watch the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace, take a ride on the London Eye for a spectacular view, see Big Ben and Abbey Road, and grab a friend to check out the hopping downtown music scene or one of the West End's many theaters. London’s diverse population is yet another reason why this one of the most exciting cities in the world.

On the second half of your program, you will then travel on to the heart of Catalan culture in Barcelona, Spain for the last 4 weeks. In addition to working on your Spanish, you will have countless opportunities to lounge on the beach, take a cooking class, and explore the delights of Mediterranean culture!
