Study Abroad with CEA in Seville, Spain

CEA Seville Center & Pablo de Olavide University or University of Seville

Students take courses at CEA Seville Center and Pablo de Olavide University (UPO) or University of Seville (USS). This program provides the flexibility of selecting courses that meet your academic goals. Courses are taught in Spanish or English at all institutions and in a wide array of subject areas. In your classes at UPO or USS, you'll have the chance to interact with peers from Spain, Europe, and the U.S.

Experience Seville

With a population of less than 1 million, Seville offers a down-to-earth lifestyle and relaxed cultural experience. Located in southern Spain, Seville is considered the guardian of all that is traditional in Spanish culture. Seville boasts a pedestrian-friendly,a centralized historic district that's, among the largest in Europe. Renowned as the birthplace of flamenco, Seville also is home to stunning architecture, including the Alcazar palaces and the world's largest Gothic cathedral, La Giralda.

Engage in true Seville culture through a myriad of traditional Spanish activities, including bullfighting, flamenco dance, and festivals, such as Semana Santa and Feria de Abril. Terrace cafés where people meet to enjoy their afternoon café con leche line the streets; you can join them to practice your Spanish. Sunbathe by the river banks, then relax at a local tapas bar where you'll enjoy good food and conversation after a day spent strolling through the shaded, winding alleyways of the Barrio Santa Cruz, the old Jewish quarter.
