Experience Florence

The capital of central Italy's Tuscany region, Florence nestles among cypress-clad hills and famous wine country. Many recognizable Renaissance artworks were created -- and are still preserved – in Florence, and the city is not only the renowned home of greats like Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and Galileo, but also boasts sophisticated couture fashion houses and top engineers. Here, the past and present come together to create an inspiring and dynamic atmosphere for study abroad students and professionals alike. It's an international city with a small-town feel.

For a study abroad student in Florence, CEA provides unique academic experiences unavailable anywhere else: Watching conservators preserve celebrated Renaissance paintings and sculptures, meeting representatives of a local anti-Mafia organization, learning about the fashion trade from a national buyer, and discussing Florence's role in the global marketplace with local business owners. You will attend classes in Florence's vibrant streets and squares, analyzing Raphael's masterpieces in the Uffizi Gallery in the morning and learning about wine pairing in the afternoon. Allow Florence to teach you through experience and examination.

CEA provides study abroad programs in 13 countries and 22 cities around the world. Contact your CEA Admissions Counselor today: 1-800-266-4441
