Business Administration Internship Program in Italy


syracuseCombining classroom instruction and fieldwork, the business administration internship program with La Famiglia exposes students to family business operations and dynamics; EU, Italian and Sicilian business laws and regulations, while developing their Italian language and entrepreneurial skills.

La Famiglia connects students with small family agribusinesses (i.e., wineries, dairy/cheese farms, fisheries, etc.) so they may learn about, and assist with, research and development (R&D), production, e-commerce, sales, branding and marketing strategies, and financial planning.Assist in research and development, finance and investment plans, sales, field study and marketing strategies while developing your Italian language skills. This program is available for undergraduate and graduate students in any academic discipline.

Program
Students will have the opportunity to enjoy excursions to Ortigia, Catania and Palermo to name a few.

Student housing will be located at the Mediterranean Center for Arts and Sciences.

Arcadia Advantage
Upon arrival, you will meet the Arcadia and Mediterranean Center staff, participate in a comprehensive orientation, and move into your housing. All students enrolling in the Arcadia program in Syracuse will be expected to attend orientation. At this time, academic contracts are signed, expectations are established, basic cultural differences are explained, and practical matters such as internet access, cell phone service, banking, health and safety, rules of conduct, housing issues, and emergency contact information are discussed.
