Rabat Summer - Francophone Studies

Program Overview

Rabat Summer

As the capital of Morocco, Rabat is home to numerous NGOs, international organizations, and Morocco's leading university. Rabat also boasts a cosmopolitan mix of European Modernism and North African and Islamic tradition. Its unique blend of cultures, religions, languages, and identities creates a perfect backdrop for studying issues in the francophone world. Rabat's coastal location, moderate weather year-round, and mix of the old and new make it a fascinating city to live and study in during the summer.

Designed for students interested in Francophone Studies, this program offers courses in Literature, Gender Studies, Maghrebian & Sub-Saharan culture, Migration Studies, and Political Science, all of which are taught in French.

Why Rabat?

Chances are you're craving a new way of learning—a new way of seeing the world. Consider studying somewhere exotic, somewhere with a melting pot of cultures and influences; somewhere that's located close to ancient ruins, the beach and the mountains; somewhere with a rich history, but definitely a modern flair, too. You can have all of this and so much more when you study abroad in Rabat.
