Program Description:
AIFS Study Abroad in San Jose, Costa Rica: Semester or Academic Year
Earn up to 23 credits through a wide variety of courses when you study with AIFS in San José, Costa Rica. AIFS in San Jose offers unique academic opportunities: Spanish and Humanities Studies, Environmental Sciences or an Internship and Spanish Program. Live in a homestay and enjoy cultural activities such as walking tours of the city, Costa Rican cooking classes, and visits to local museums and historical sites. A 3-day trip to Arenal Volcano, hot springs and the Monteverde Cloud Forest, a 3-day trip to Manuel Antonio National Park, and a day trip to Poas Volcano and La Paz Waterfall are included. Optional trips are, a 3-day trip to Granada, Nicaragua, and a 2-day hiking and rafting trip to Sarapiqui.
