Supporting Study Abroad

At VMI, faculty and staff are encouraged to promote the idea of spending a semester or summer abroad.  Cultural awareness and appreciation are integral aspects of the VMI mission of producing young men and women who are global citizens.  

Cadets are more likely to study abroad if they feel that their professors, academic advisors, and study abroad advisors are supportive.  We want to make it easy for you to guide your cadets academically through the process and support them through letters of recommendation.
